Maxim Boisseau is a visual artist who has been creating images for over fifteen years. Graduated in visual arts from  Laval University, he stands out for his versatile practice, skillfully blending video and painting to create unique works. Throughout his career, Maxim has had the opportunity to participate in large-scale projects in the art world and entertainment industry. Creating visual content, scenographic video for various types of shows. Internationally renowned musical artists, Cirque du Soleil shows, as well as architectural and museum projections. His pictorial practice, meanwhile, is part of a more intimate and sensory reflection. His works, often influenced by his video work, question the role of the images in our contemporary society, and more specifically the way in which technologies and modes of communication transform our perceptions of the world. Through a traditional medium and a subtle exploration between light in darkness, it invites reflection on the immediate and future consequences of these technological developments, both artistically and socially.
